The South East Junior Football Club is proud to welcome the appointment of Lana Reardon as the Giants’ first female President – a milestone moment for our club.
Since Day One, Lana Reardon has been part of the club’s fabric, serving as the registrar and becoming the beating heart that has defined the spirit of the South East Junior Football Club.
Her journey with the club has been marked by unwavering dedication, passion, and a deep love for the sport and its community.
Today, we are thrilled to have Lana take on a new role as our President – a position Lana said she steps into with pride.
“I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of President for our club,” she said.
“a goal for our committee this is year is to grow our player numbers in our local area and to continue to build on creating a club that is known to be welcoming and inclusive to everyone.”
Since serving as registrar, Lana has been the friendly face that welcomed every player, guided families through the seasons, and ensured that the football experience for our players and their families was not just memorable but also hassle-free.
Her commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit has made her a cherished figure among our members.
Her ascent to the presidency is a testament to her outstanding leadership qualities and the profound impact she has had on the South East Junior Football Club.
AFL Tasmania Women and Girls Community Football Lead Amy Bailey congratulated Lana on her appointment.
